Introduction of course
Eligible learners: The library staff of an eligible library, museum, art museum or archive.

Paper documents comprise the bulk of the documents we have preserved in our library. The purpose of the course is to explain why documents must be preserved and describe the appropriate preservation environment and archival measures.
Chapter 1: “Basic concepts of preserving documents”
Contents: The course outlines the fundamental concept of preservation and conservation and describes appropriate methods for preserving and using materials.
Course duration: 90 minutes

Chapter 2: “Preservation environment and archival measures”
Contents: The course teaches participants the basic concepts and methods of document preservation. Learners study the preservation of documents including the factors of deterioration and the storage environmental .
Course duration: 330 minutes

Chapter 3: “Concept of document preservation control and understanding the methods”
Contents: The course teaches participants the basic concepts of document preservation and the preservation methods, which we learned in Chapters 1 and 2, by group and system.
Course duration: 90 minutes

Final exam: Exam of 20 questions based on Chapters 1, 2 and 3.
